Planning your session should be fun, not stressful. I have gathered answers to the questions I hear most often, like how long it takes to receive your images, what type of deposit is needed, and many more, so you can feel confident and prepared. I will handle the details and all you have to do is show up and enjoy your session.

 

FAQ

How will we get our photos?

Your images will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos with ease. I always recommend downloading your images directly from the gallery rather than screenshotting so you receive the highest quality files.

Your gallery also includes a professional print store. Ordering prints directly from the gallery is the easiest way to get beautiful, high quality prints that match what you see on your screen. Ordering from my store is always appreciated and is another sweet way to support my small business.

What does booking look like?

To officially reserve your date, a non refundable deposit is required. For sessions, I ask for a $50 deposit with the remaining balance due the day of your session. For weddings, a 30% deposit is required with the remaining balance due the day before your wedding.

If something unexpected comes up, I am happy to work with you on rescheduling. Just keep me in the loop!

What if we need to reschedule?

I know that plans change and life happens. Deposits are non refundable, but I am happy to honor your deposit and work with you to reschedule your session or wedding date if needed. I just ask for at least one day’s notice whenever possible.

When can we expect our gallery?

Session galleries are delivered within 2 to 3 weeks.

Wedding galleries are delivered within 8 weeks.

Each image is carefully edited, giving me the time to deliver beautifully polished photos that you will treasure for years to come.

Do you travel for sessions and weddings?

Oh yeah! I love to travel for sessions and weddings. Additional travel fees may apply depending on the location, but reach out and I can create a custom package for you!

Can you help us choose a location?

Absolutely. Once I know the look and feel you’re hoping for, I can suggest locations that fit your vision and package choice. Together we’ll find the perfect backdrop for your photos!

Are pets allowed to join my session?

Of course! I know our furry friends are part of the family. Just give me a heads up ahead of time so I can make sure the location allows pets.

What if we need extra time during our session?

If you would like to extend your session beyond the time included in your package, we can absolutely add extra time. The additional time would just be at my normal rate.

How can we prepare for an in home session?

In home sessions are meant to feel personal and relaxed. Before your session, I recommend tidying up and moving anything you do not want photographed. If something can be easily moved, it’s best to take care of it beforehand, as I do not remove objects or clutter during editing.

I also encourage you to think about which areas of your home are most meaningful to you. You know your space best, and choosing locations with special significance makes your gallery even more personal.
